Softball Recap: Ville Platte Takes a Loss

The Ville Platte Bulldogs came up short against the South Beauregard Knights on Thursday, falling 13-1.

Ville Platte saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Laila Lewis, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

Ville Platte dropped their record down to 7-9 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for South Beauregard, they now have a winning record of 16-15.

While Ville Platte had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled on Saturday.
