Soccer Recap: Random Lake Comes Up Short

Random Lake came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 9-1 to the Sheboygan Christian Eagles. Things were pretty much settled by the half as Random Lake were already down 5-0.

Random Lake's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Sheboygan Christian, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 8-2-3.

Looking ahead, Random Lake will face off against Oostburg at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Oostburg's defense has only allowed 0.4 goals per game this season, so Random Lake's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Sheboygan Christian, they will challenge Green Bay West at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Sheboygan Christian will be up against Green Bay West's rather soft defense (which has allowed ten goals per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
