Softball Recap: Southwest Legacy Titans vs. MacArthur Brahmas
Southwest Legacy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They fell 16-13 to the MacArthur Brahmas. If the Titans were looking for revenge after losing 8-0 to them when the teams met back in February of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.
Amy Saul led a balanced group of hitters, firing off two home runs and five RBI while going 4-for-5. Those home runs marked the first that she's launched this season. Another player making a difference was Novalee Gloria, who went 3-for-5 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs.

Even though they lost, Southwest Legacy was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .410. The last time their batting average was this high was back in February of 2024.

Coming up, Southwest Legacy is taking a road trip to challenge Harlandale at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Harlandale is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.7 runs per game this season. As for MacArthur, they will be taking part in a tournament against Akins at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday.
