Football Game Preview: Adamson Leopards vs. Seagoville Dragons + How To Watch

Adamson is 0-8 against Seagoville since October of 2015 but things could change on Thursday. The Leopards will head out to take on the Dragons at 7:15 p.m.

Adamson's offense might be in the hot seat on Thursday considering what happened against Hillcrest on Friday. They were outmatched by the Panthers and fell 29-0. Considering the last time the Leopards couldn't score was back in September, the team can't take the result too hard.

Even if they lost, Adamson's defense still kept up the pressure with six sacks. The heavy lifting was done by Leo Vaca and SirTwan Brown, who racked up five sacks between them. Brown is also crushing it when it comes to total tackles: he's made at least five every time he's taken the field this season.

Meanwhile, while Seagoville put up plenty of points on Friday, the same can't be said for Jefferson. The Dragons simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Patriots 49-0. That 49 point margin sets a new team best for the Dragons this season.

Adamson better focus on containing Ancel Bynaum and Ricky Wilkins as the pair were huge in Seagoville's win. Bynaum threw for 279 yards and five TDs while completing 72.2% of his passes, while Wilkins gained 197 total yards and two touchdowns. The dominant performance also gave Wilkins a new career-high in rushing yards (127). Another player making a difference was Adam West, who picked up 127 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Seagoville didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. In fact, those interceptions all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Jderek Anderson.

Seagoville's record is now 4-5. As for Adamson, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-7.

Adamson came up short against Seagoville when the teams last played back in November of 2024, falling 22-17. Can the Leopards avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
