Christian Academy of Madison's loss ends four-game winning streak at home

Recap: Christian Academy of Madison Defenders vs. Laurel Panthers
The Christian Academy of Madison Defenders were the 55-40 winner over the Laurel Panthers when they last played one another back in December of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. Christian Academy of Madison was outmatched by Laurel at home and fell 62-32. It was the first time this season that Christian Academy of Madison let down their fans at home.
Laurel found their leader in underclassman Brayden Gerrian, who scored 26 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Gerrian has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Dominic James, who scored 15 points.
Christian Academy of Madison's defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-7. As for Laurel, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-5.
Christian Academy of Madison will head out on the road to take on Varsity Opponent at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Laurel, they will be playing at home against Heartland Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
