Basketball Game Preview: Cambridge Trojans vs. Hi-Line [Eustis-Farnam/Elwood]

The Cambridge Trojans will face off against Hi-Line [Eustis-Farnam/Elwood] at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Cambridge is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 54.4 points per game this season.

Last Tuesday, Cambridge didn't have quite enough to beat Southern Valley and fell 51-49. The Trojans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite their defeat, Cambridge saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Brady Ahlemeyer, who posted 16 points and eight boards, was perhaps the best of all. The team also got some help courtesy of Maverick Webb, who scored seven points and six assists.

Even though they lost, Cambridge smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in five consecutive contests.

Meanwhile, it was close, but on Tuesday Hi-Line [Eustis-Farnam/Elwood] sidestepped Medicine Valley for a 58-56 victory.

Hi-Line [Eustis-Farnam/Elwood]'s win bumped their record up to 8-11. As for Cambridge, their loss dropped their record down to 8-8.
