Soccer Recap: Evansville Central Comes Up Short at Home Against Evansville Reitz

Evansville Central unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-pitch advantage in their season opener. They came up short against the Evansville Reitz Panthers on Saturday, falling 9-0. Evansville Central were not able to make up for their defeat to Evansville Reitz from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

Coincidentally, Evansville Central and Evansville Reitz will both be playing Jasper the next time they take the pitch. The Bears will head out to face the Wildcats at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, while the Panthers will head out to face them at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday.
