Fike has gone 8-2 against Hunt recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Golden Demons will welcome the Warriors at 7:00 p.m. Fike has given up an average of 35.7 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.
On Friday, Fike didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against C.B. Aycock, but they still walked away with a 40-34 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Golden Demons.

A big part of Fike's win came down to the chemistry between Sam Finch and his top target Braylen Loftin. Finch rushed for 54 yards and a pair of TDs while Loftin picked up 68 receiving yards and two touchdowns. Fike is 2-1 when Loftin posts two or more receiving touchdowns, but 2-4 otherwise. Speaking of playmakers, who could forget Demari Lewis, who went all the way with a kickoff return for a touchdown.
Fike didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Devarian Archie and Loftin. Archie is also crushing it when it comes to total tackles: he's made at least five every time he's taken the field this season. He got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Hunt, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They blew past Rocky Mount 30-9 on Friday. The result was nothing new for the Warriors, who have now won four games by 21 points or more so far this season.
Hunt found their leader in sophomore CJ Dickerson, who picked up two sacks, forced one fumble, and made 30 total tackles (6.0 for loss). Doryan Jones showed off some serious burst, cutting through the defense on one rush that went for 60 yards.
Hunt was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 233 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 157 rushing yards every time they've taken the field this season.
One reason for the win was Hunt's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for six sacks. It was truly a group effort as Cyntarion James, Judah Harris, and Dickerson picked up two apiece. With that strong performance, James is now averaging an impressive 7 total tackles per game. Another thorn in Rocky Mount's side was Trevorus Cooper, who made 17 total tackles (4.0 for loss).
Hunt's victory bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Fike, their win bumped their record up to 4-5.
Fike might still be hurting after the 40-14 loss they got from Hunt in their previous matchup back in November of 2024. Thankfully for the Golden Demons, Barnes Willoughby (who threw for 227 yards and three TDs) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result? There's only one way to find out.
