Basketball Recap: Carlisle County Takes a Loss

After flying high against Fulton County last Friday, Carlisle County came back down to earth. The Carlisle County Comets came up short against the Mayfield Cardinals on Thursday, falling 71-49. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Comets have suffered since December 7, 2024.

Carlisle County's loss dropped their record down to 14-17. As for Mayfield, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-9 record this season.

As of now, neither Carlisle County nor Mayfield have any future games scheduled.
