Gavin Garcia posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Tuesday. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out 11 over six innings pitched, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Ferris is 2-1 when he allows at most one earned run, but 2-4-3 otherwise.
