While Coral Gables didn't have the best season last year (they finished 9-12), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They enjoyed a cozy 55-38 win over the Southridge Spartans on Tuesday. The victory was nothing new for the Cavaliers as they're now sitting on six straight.

Dylan Janov produced another solid effort putting up 23 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Marco Molinet, who posted 12 points.

Coral Gables' record is now 6-1. As for Southridge, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Coral Gables will host Miami at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Cavaliers will need to watch out since the Stingarees have now posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. As for Southridge, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Mourning at 7:30 p.m.
