The Christian Academy will head out on the road to face off against the Calvary Christian Academy Cougars at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Christian Academy is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses.
On Saturday, The Christian Academy ended up a good deal behind Tri-State Christian and lost 59-45. While losing is never fun, The Christian Academy can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps's basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 420th in Pennsylvania, while Tri-State Christian is ranked 63rd in Maryland).
Meanwhile, things could have been worse for Calvary Christian Academy, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 56-38 loss to Dock Mennonite on Tuesday.
The Christian Academy now has a losing record at 5-6. As for Calvary Christian Academy, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-5.
The Christian Academy didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Calvary Christian Academy in their previous matchup back in January of 2023, but they still walked away with a 58-52 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for The Christian Academy since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
