Basketball Recap: Sam Rayburn Comes Up Short

Sam Rayburn was the 55-42 winner over Honey Grove when they last played one another back in February of 2025, but their luck changed this time around. The Rebels received a blow on Thursday as they fell 51-35 to the Warriors.

Sam Rayburn has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 13 of their last 15 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-18 record this season. As for Honey Grove, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-11 record this season.
