Volleyball Recap: Aurora East Takes a Loss

Aurora East was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Marist RedHawks. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Tomcats of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Aurora East's loss dropped their record down to 2-25. As for Marist, their win bumped their record up to 23-5.

Aurora East has already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Edwardsville on the 17th. As for Marist, they will take on Nazareth Academy in a tournament on Saturday. The Roadrunners will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the RedHawks surely won't give up without a fight.
