Basketball Recap: Seagraves Comes Up Short

Seagraves was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They had to suffer through a 66-23 loss at the hands of the Sundown Roughnecks. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 53-14 back in December of 2024.

Seagraves' defeat dropped their record down to 6-18. As for Sundown, they moved to 7-12 with that win, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

Seagraves will venture away from home to square off against Morton at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. Seagraves is facing Morton at the right time seeing as Morton is stuck on a ten-game losing streak. As for Sundown, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Ropes at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. Sundown will also cruise into their next matchup with the timing on their side: Ropes will have lost three straight heading into Friday's game.
