Volleyball Recap: River Mill's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past + How To Watch

River Mill had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Central Carolina Academy Eagles on Thursday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in August.

The victory didn't come easy: Central Carolina Academy scored at least 18 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-23, 23-25, 25-18, 26-24.

Anna Rominger was the offensive standout of the matchup as she had 14 digs and two aces. Those two aces gave her a new career-high.

Rominger wasn't the only good server: River Mill was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 18 aces. That's the most aces they've managed all season.

The win got River Mill back to even at 7-7. As for Central Carolina Academy, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-13.

River Mill wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 3-0 loss against Woods Charter on the 19th. As for Central Carolina Academy, they are taking a road trip to face off against Chatham Charter at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
