Baseball Preview: Shikellamy Braves vs. Shamokin Area Indians

On Friday, Shikellamy was able to grind out a solid victory over Milton, taking the game 7-3.

Chayse Snyder was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching an inning while giving up no earned runs or hits (he also didn't allow any walks). Snyder was also big at the plate, scoring two runs while going 1-for-3.

In other batting news, Luke Beyer was excellent, scoring a run while going 1-for-3.

Meanwhile, Shamokin Area fell victim to a rough 10-2 defeat at the hands of Milton last Friday. Shamokin Area has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
