Terre Haute North Vigo entered their tilt with South Knox on Thursday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They never let the Spartans get on the board and left with an 8-0 win. Considering the Patriots have won nine matches by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

South Knox's batters probably weren't too happy with Kendall Gregg, who pitched a no hitter and racked up nine Ks (he gave up a single walk). Gregg has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in ten consecutive appearances.

Moore went a perfect 2-for-2 with one triple, two RBI, and one run, while Millington got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases, two runs, and one triple. Terre Haute North Vigo is undefeated when Millington posts two or more runs, but 7-8 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Parker Higham, who went 2-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Terre Haute North Vigo was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .375. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .353 or higher in three consecutive games.

Terre Haute North Vigo pushed their record up to 13-8 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.3 runs on average over those games. As for South Knox, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-16.
