Football Recap: Bishop Guilfoyle Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Bishop Guilfoyle and Clairton squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Bishop Guilfoyle had to settle for second. They were dealt a 35-3 loss at the hands of the Bears. The defensive woes were uncharacteristic for the Marauders, who until this game were averaging 12.19 points allowed.

Even if they lost, Bishop Guilfoyle's defensive line still kept up the pressure with three sacks. Rocco Cacciotti was particularly dangerous to the passing game, picking up two himself. He has been hot for a while, having also posted five or more total tackles the last 19 times he's played.

Deon Lovelace-Pompey continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Clairton, rushing for 83 yards and two TDs on only ten carries.

Bishop Guilfoyle's defeat ended a seven-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 13-3. As for Clairton, the victory (which was their 15th in a row) raised their record to 15-1.
