Basketball Recap: Standing Rock Comes Up Short

Standing Rock was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They took a blow against the Wahpeton Huskies, falling 60-29. The match marked the Warriors' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Standing Rock's defeat dropped their record down to 7-12. As for Wahpeton, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-8.

Coming up, Standing Rock will head out on the road to face off against Shiloh Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Shiloh Christian will roll in looking for their 14th straight win, something Standing Rock surely won't give up without a fight. As for Wahpeton, they will host Valley City at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
