Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Avalon). They blew past First Baptist 82-52 on Saturday. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Lancers considering their 25-point performance the match before.

First Baptist lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Juan Joel Hernandez, who went 9 for 19 en route to 22 points and five boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Jesse Delaney, who posted 16 points.

The victory snapped Avalon's losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 2-15 record. As for First Baptist, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-6.

Avalon has already played their next contest, a 57-48 win against Southlands Christian on the 27th. As for First Baptist, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 68-61 victory against Liberty Christian on the 28th.
