Volleyball Recap: Jackeline Lopez's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Triumph Charter over Los Angeles CES

Triumph Charter lost against Los Angeles CES back in October of 2022 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Jaguars took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Unicorns.

Triumph Charter's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jackeline Lopez, who had 13 digs and seven kills. Lopez is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last ten games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Arianna Holoman, who had 17 digs and two aces.

Triumph Charter's loss dropped their record down to 22-5. As for Los Angeles CES, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-9 record this season.

Triumph Charter didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 1-0 win against Legacy on the 11th. As for Los Angeles CES, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 1-0 defeat against Arleta on the 11th.
