After a string of three wins, West Platte's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They took a 60-45 bruising from the North Platte Panthers. Sadly, that's the third time they've come up short against the Bluejays this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 58-40 back in December of 2024.

West Platte's loss dropped their record down to 11-6. As for North Platte, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 16-3.

West Platte and North Platte should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Missouri Rankings. West Platte (ranked 161st) will meet South Holt (ranked 406th) at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. West Platte is looking to tack on another W to their four-game streak on the road.
