Basketball Recap: Manual Falls Short of Ellicott in the Playoffs

Manual and Ellicott squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Manual had to settle for second. The game between the Manual Thunderbolts and the Ellicott Thunderhawks didn't end well, with the Manual Thunderbolts falling 47-30. The Thunderbolts just can't catch a break and have now endured four losses in a row.

When it comes to explaining why Manual lost, don't look at Dayjah Fox. Despite the final result, she dropped a double-double with 15 points and 12 boards. Fox is also on a roll when it comes to blocks, as she's now posted two or more in each of the last 23 games she's played dating back to last season.

Manual's defeat dropped their record down to 16-6. As for Ellicott, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-7 record this season.
