Baseball Game Preview: University Christian Christians vs. Florida Christian Patriots

The University Christian Christians will take on the Florida Christian Patriots at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. University Christian will be strutting in after a win while Florida Christian will be coming in after a loss.

University Christian will roll into the match after a wild two-game stretch: they didn't score any runs on Tuesday, then bounced right back against Eagle's View on Thursday. University Christian put the hurt on Eagle's View with a sharp 11-1 victory. The result was nothing new for the Christians, who have now won six contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Bryson Harnage was incredible, going 2-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Bo Wilson, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 1-for-2.

Meanwhile, Florida Christian came up short against Bishop Snyder on Thursday and fell 6-1. The Patriots have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Florida Christian saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was David Suarez, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one RBI.

University Christian has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.8 runs on average over those games. Florida Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 11-8.
