Football Recap: Kofa Piles Up the Points Against Alhambra

Kofa's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They claimed a resounding 51-20 win over the Alhambra Lions. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Kings also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2022.

Antonio Ochoa had an outrageously good game as he rushed for 179 yards and a pair of TDs on only 12 carries. RIcky Martinez was in the mix too, providing Kofa with two touchdowns.

Despite the loss, Alhambra still got an impressive performance from Camion West, who picked up 85 receiving yards and two scores. West got the majority of those receiving yards when he pulled down a pass and took off for a gain of 64 yards.

Kofa's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Alhambra, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Kofa has already played their next contest, a 20-14 win against Cholla on the 19th. As for Alhambra, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 63-7 loss against Lake Havasu on the 19th.
