West Oso lost against London back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The West Oso Bears fell to the London Pirates 52-47. While losing is never fun, the Bears can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 752nd, while the Pirates are ranked 333rd).

West Oso lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Jordan Hernandez, who went 7-for-15 to rack up 17 points and six boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Amarre Sanders, who posted nine points.

London was led to victory by Christian Olivares and Ac Carpentier. Olivares went 7-for-13 en route to 22 points in addition to seven rebounds and three steals, while Carpentier earned 19 points. What's more, Carpentier also posted two blocks, the most he's had since back in December of 2024. Paul Mcnorton was another key player, putting up six points and eight boards.

West Oso's loss dropped their record down to 22-13. As for London, they are on a roll lately: they've won 16 of their last 17 games, which provided a nice bump to their 28-5 record this season.

Coming up, West Oso will take on Bishop at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
