Ramona came into their game on Wednesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 3-0 to Norte Vista.

While Ramona was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Norte Vista's winning margin in every set. The final score came out to 25-14, 25-16, 25-18.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Jurupa Valley, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They put the hurt on La Sierra with a sharp 3-0 victory on Wednesday. The win continues a trend for the Jaguars in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now won five in a row.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-16, 25-11.

Ramona's defeat dropped their record down to 5-15. As for Jurupa Valley, their victory bumped their record up to 14-7.
