Basketball Recap: Kalskag Gets the Win

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Akiak, Kalskag was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They snuck past the Tuluksak Wolverines with a 54-50 victory. This was a revenge game for the Grizzly Bears: when they faced off against the Wolverines back in January, they had to take a 40-39 defeat.

Kalskag found their leader in sophomore Danialle Levi, who posted 17 points. Elizabeth Levi was another key player, putting up nine points.

Kalskag's record is now 3-5. As for Tuluksak, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-9 record this season.

Kalskag has already played their next contest, a 47-42 loss against Akiak on the 21st. Tuluksak does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
