Pine Tree hadn't done well against Pleasant Grove recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. The Pirates came out on top against the Hawks by a score of 2-0. This was a revenge game for the Pirates: when they faced off against the Hawks on Friday, they had to take a 2-1 defeat.

Pine Tree's win bumped their record up to 15-9. As for Pleasant Grove, with the loss, they broke their five-game winning streak and moved their record to 8-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pine Tree will welcome Harmony at 5:30 a.m. on Tuesday. As for Pleasant Grove, they will challenge Tatum at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Eagles will roll in looking for their 14th straight victory, something the Hawks surely won't give up without a fight.
