Volleyball Recap: Eisenhower Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Eisenhower can now relate to. They fell 3-1 to the Hickory Hornets on Tuesday. The Knights' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

Paisley Lawson paced Eisenhower's offense, picking up 19 kills. Lawson got some help from Lexi Pascuzzi and her 15 assists. Layla Edwards controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Eisenhower's defeat dropped their record down to 11-7. As for Hickory, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season.

As of now, neither Eisenhower nor Hickory have any future games scheduled.
