Football Recap: Ribault Comes Up Short

While it was Ribault who put the first points on the board on Tuesday, it was Sandalwood who put up more. The Ribault Trojans fell 27-18 to the Sandalwood Saints. The matchup was a 6-6 toss-up at halftime, but the Trojans couldn't quite close it out.

Ribault's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Sandalwood, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ribault will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Westside at 6:00 p.m. on March 25th. As for Sandalwood, they are taking a road trip to challenge First Coast at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Sandalwood is facing First Coast at the right time seeing as First Coast is stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
