Baseball Game Preview: Vidor Pirates vs. Bullard Panthers

For the second straight game, Vidor will face off against Bullard. The Pirates will look to defend their home field on Saturday against the Panthers at 4:00 p.m. The last three games Vidor has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Vidor is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They had just enough and edged out Bullard 2-1. That's two games straight that the Pirates have won by just one run.

Alex Bryant spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on two hits. He has been consistent for a while: he hasn't given up more than two walks in ten consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Tanner Hanks was excellent, going a perfect 1-for-1 with two stolen bases and one run.
