Basketball Recap: North Country Union Takes a Loss

After flying high against Lyndon Institute last Friday, North Country Union came back down to earth. The North Country Union Falcons fell to the Spaulding Crimson Tide 67-61. The Falcons were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Crimson Tide apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January.

North Country Union now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Spaulding, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 4-1.

North Country Union will face off against Lamoille at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. North Country Union is facing Lamoille at the right time seeing as Lamoille is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Spaulding, they will challenge Montpelier at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Montpelier is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 72.6 points per game this season.
