Basketball Recap: Pike County Takes a Loss

It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 74-40, which was the final score in the Pike County Pirates's tilt against the Callaway Cavaliers on Friday. The Pirates have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Pike County's loss came despite strong showings from Sadie Lewis and Kerrah Foster. Lewis posted 15 points and three steals, while Foster earned 13 points. Lewis has been hot for a while, having posted two or more steals the last 20 times she's played.

Pike County's loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Callaway, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-3.
