Basketball Game Preview: Mendota Trojans vs. Kewanee Boilermakers

Mendota hasn't had much luck against Kewanee recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Mendota Trojans will be playing at home against the Kewanee Boilermakers at 7:00 p.m. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

On Wednesday, Mendota lost to Byron on the road by a 67-51 margin.

Meanwhile, Kewanee came up short against Newman Central Catholic on Friday and fell 65-55. The Boilermakers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Kewanee's loss dropped their record down to 9-9. As for Mendota, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 13-7.
