Volleyball Game Preview: Union Grove Christian Patriots vs. Tabernacle Christian Conquerors

The Union Grove Christian Patriots will head out to face off against the Tabernacle Christian Conquerors at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday. Tabernacle Christian took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Union Grove Christian, who comes in off a win.

On Tuesday, Union Grove Christian was able to grind out a solid victory over Faith Christian, taking the game 3-1. The win continues a trend for the Patriots in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now won five in a row.

Meanwhile, Tabernacle Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 3-1 to Cramerton Christian Academy.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-0, 0-25, 25-0, 25-0.

Union Grove Christian's victory bumped their record up to 7-4. As for Tabernacle Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 2-8.

Everything went Union Grove Christian's way against Tabernacle Christian in their previous meeting back in August, as Union Grove Christian made off with a 3-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Patriots since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
