Cannon Rogers gave up the fewest hits he has since back in April of 2024 on Monday. He struck out six batters over 3.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and only one walk), good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.

Rogers' strong effort led Silverdale Academy over Notre Dame and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. The Fighting Irish are limping into the matchup having lost four straight on the road.
