Softball Recap: Licking Wildcats vs. Salem Tigers
Licking waltzed into their match on Monday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured an 8-7 W against the Salem Tigers. This was a revenge game for the Wildcats: when they faced off against the Tigers back in April, they had to take a 15-10 loss.
Kimree Brazier was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she tossed seven innings while giving up three earned (and four unearned) runs off six hits. Brazier was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. That's the most hits she has posted since back in April.
