Basketball Recap: Adrian Takes a Loss

After flying high against Lone Jack last Tuesday, Adrian came back down to earth. The Adrian Blackhawks took a 56-47 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rich Hill Tigers on Thursday. While losing is never fun, the Blackhawks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 338th, while the Tigers are ranked 147th).

Adrian dropped their record down to 5-7 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home. As for Rich Hill, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-3 record this season.

Adrian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 63-33 victory against Archie on the 1st. As for Rich Hill, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 71-47 loss against Harrisonville on the 1st.
