Soccer Game Preview: Stephenson vs. Douglass

The Stephenson Jaguars will take on the Douglass Astros at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Stephenson's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for four straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Stephenson fell victim to Riverdale and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They lost 10-0 to the Raiders. That's two games in a row now that Stephenson have lost by exactly ten goals.

Meanwhile, Douglass also failed to score in their most recent game. They came up short against Riverdale on Thursday, falling 9-0.

Stephenson's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Douglass, their loss dropped their record down to 1-5.

Stephenson was able to grind out a solid win over Douglass in their previous matchup back in March of 2025, winning 4-2. Will the Jaguars repeat their success, or do the Astros have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
