Softball Preview: West Deptford Eagles vs. Gloucester County Tech
The West Deptford Eagles are taking a road trip to face off against Gloucester County Tech at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. West Deptford is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.7 runs per game this season.
On Wednesday, West Deptford beat Sterling 8-4. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Eagles.

Jordyn Ambrosius made a splash no matter where she played. She struck out nine batters over seven innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off seven hits (and not a single walk). She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts in five consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.
In other batting news, Francesca Delquadro was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two runs, two RBI, and one double. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in April. Another player making a difference was Kaylee Morales, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with three RBI.
Meanwhile, Gloucester County Tech never let their opponents score on Thursday. They blew past Burlington Township 7-0.
West Deptford's record now sits at 16-10-1. As for Gloucester County Tech, their record is now 15-13.
