Volleyball Recap: Maxwell Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Maxwell lost against Hamilton back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Panthers came up short against the Braves, falling 3-0. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

While Maxwell had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 18 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-18, 25-19.

Hamilton can attribute much of their success to Jordyn Rodgers, who had five digs and four aces. That's the most digs Rodgers has posted since September 6th. Tanya Vera Reyes also deserves some recognition as she had her first kill of the season.

Maxwell's defeat dropped their record down to 10-12. As for Hamilton, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-4 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Maxwell is set to challenge their familiar foe Biggs at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Hamilton will square off against rival Williams at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
