Volleyball Recap: Timpview Takes a Loss

If Timpview was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Springville last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Thunderbirds fell 3-1 to the Salem Hills Skyhawks on Tuesday. The Thunderbirds were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Skyhawks earlier this season, when they won 3-1.

The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 15-25, 25-13, 25-23.

Timpview has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-9 record this season. As for Salem Hills, with the victory, they broke their three-match losing streak and moved their record to 5-14.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Timpview will challenge rival Payson at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Salem Hills is set to square off against their familiar foe Wasatch at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
