Baseball Recap: Crestline Comes Up Short

Crestline lost to Lucas back in April of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Bulldogs fell just short of the Cubs by a score of 5-4. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Weston Clark was cooking despite his team's loss, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases and two runs. Another player making a difference was Brayden Winemiller, who got on base in two of his three plate appearances with two stolen bases.

Crestline's defeat dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Lucas, they pushed their record up to 6-5 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

While Crestline had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
