Volleyball Recap: Gunnison Valley Takes a Loss

Gunnison Valley and Kanab squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Gunnison Valley had to settle for second. They fell 3-1 to the Cowboys. The Bulldogs have struggled against the Cowboys recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.

The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-15, 23-25, 25-9.

When it comes to explaining why Gunnison Valley lost, don't look at Shae King. Despite the final result, she had 18 digs and three assists. King is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 14 or more in each of the last three games she's played.

Gunnison Valley's loss dropped their record down to 5-21. As for Kanab, they pushed their record up to 7-16 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home.

Gunnison Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Kanab, they have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Draper APA on the 24th.
