Basketball Game Preview: Summit Charter Bears vs. Robbinsville Black Knights

The Summit Charter Bears will head out on the road to square off against the Robbinsville Black Knights at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Summit Charter will be strutting in after a win while Robbinsville will be coming in after a defeat.

Summit Charter is headed into the match after thoroughly thrashing Shining Rock Classical Academy: they outscored them in every quarter. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that Summit Charter blew Shining Rock Classical Academy out of the water with a 57-8 final score. The game was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Bears had established a 46 point advantage.

Sydney Sinclair was a one-woman wrecking crew for Summit Charter as she went 10 of 15 en route to 20 points and seven steals. Sinclair has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last four times she's played. Olivia Reeves was another key player, putting up 12 points along with seven steals and six boards.

Meanwhile, Robbinsville was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Friday as they fell 53-48 to Andrews.

Summit Charter is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a massive bump to their 5-10 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.5 points per game. As for Robbinsville, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last 12 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-9 record this season.
