Football Recap: Beddingfield Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Beddingfield extended their losing streak to five on Friday, dropping them down to 1-7. They took a blow against the Tarboro Vikings, falling 55-0. While losing is never fun, the Bruins can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina football rankings (they are ranked 340th, while the Vikings are ranked 40th).

As for Tarboro, the win keeps them at an undefeated 8-0. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 8.3 points on average over those games.

Caiden Everette was his usual excellent self, rushing for 103 yards and three scores. That's the most rushing touchdowns he has posted since back in October of 2024. Kamerin McDowell-Moore was in the mix as well, providing Tarboro with two TDs.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Beddingfield will square off against Kinston at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bruins' defense better be ready for this one: the Vikings have averaged an impressive 34.9 points per game this season. As for Tarboro, they will take on Ayden - Grifton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Vikings will need to watch out since the Chargers have now posted at least 31 points in their last three contests.
