Basketball Recap: Corvallis Comes Up Short

Corvallis was the 43-37 winner over Central when they last played one another back in January of 2025, but their luck changed this time around. The Spartans were just a bucket shy of victory on Tuesday and fell 54-53 to the Panthers.

Corvallis' defeat dropped their record down to 8-5. As for Central, their win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-3.

Coming up, Corvallis will welcome Crescent Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Central, they will head out on the road to face off against Lebanon at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Panthers are facing the Warriors at the right time seeing as the Warriors are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
