Jenison came tearing into Wednesday's contest with six straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They put the hurt on the Portage Northern Huskies with a sharp 3-0 win. The Wildcats not only won on Wednesday, but they posted their biggest win since November 7, 2024 (when they won 3-0).

Jenison can attribute much of their success to Cora Rotman, who had 12 assists and three aces. Those three aces gave Rotman a new career-high. Kendall Rogalla also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

They weren't the only good server: Jenison was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 11 aces. That's the most aces they've managed all season.

Jenison's victory bumped their record up to 10-1. As for Portage Northern, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-6.

Looking ahead, Jenison will challenge Traverse City West at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday. As for Portage Northern, they will take on Central at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
